Biography
Jelizaveta was born in Riga in 1995. Her musical education began at the Emil Darzin Music School for talented Children in Riga. After graduating, she completed her Bachelor's and Master's studies at the Musikhochschule Lübeck in Germany.
Since she was 5 years old, she has been performing concerts worldwide as a soloist and a chamber musician, collaborating with the Latvian State Orchestra, Larvia’s Radio, and participating in festivals and concerts at renowned venues such as the Laeiszhalle and Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Muk and Kongresshalle in Lübeck, the Saltarello Festival at Sendesaal Bremen, the Schleswig-Holstein Festival, Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Lou Calen Festival in France, Schloss Elmau, and others.
Jelizaveta is a multiple prize winner of international competitions, such as the "International Competition for Austrian and German Music", "Tonali16" competition in Hamburg, "Concours Musical de France" and many others. Furthermore, she was the founder and artistic director of projects such as "Persecuted Music and Painting" and other projects especially aimed at bringing classical music to social institutions.
In 2020, Jelizaveta took on the artistic direction of the art project "Eis Schmilzt" in collaboration with researcher Arvid Fuchs. In the same year, she joined "Arte Concerts" as part of the program "Hope@home - Next Generation" with Daniel Hope in Berlin.
In 2022 Jelizaveta won the Fanny Mendelsohn Prize together with violinist Dorothea Schupelius and released her debut album "#Wunderkammer."
She is a scholarship holder of numerous Foundations including Yamaha Music Europe, Ad Infinitum Foundation, Possehl Stiftung, Karin-Schütz Stiftung, Deutschland Stipendium, Latvian Culture Fund of Art, and others.
Jelizaveta is also actively involved as a scholar in the "Live Music Now" association, as well as in the "Perle" and other associations whose mission is to bring music to places where people cannot attend concerts due to their life circumstances, especially hospitals.
Since 2023, Jelizaveta has also been a candlelight artist.
Beyond her career as a pianist, Jelizaveta has been teaching and giving masterclasses in Europe and in the Middle East. She is one of the founders of different workshops in Europe, including teaching not only adults but also small kids, whose aim is to raise love and interest in classical music.
